Former Whitbread Brewery site to be pub with walk-in wine room

The transformation of the former Whitbread Brewery site into The Jugged Hare gastropub is to include a walk-in wine room.
ETM Group, which is renovating the pub on Chiswell Street in London to be their tenth site, is expecting to open the 60-cover dining room in March.
Tom Martin, owner, said: "This is a project that we have been working on for a very long time and it will be a pleasure to showcase our genuine passion for British produce, particularly meat, game and wild fish and shellfish, alongside fine wines and real ales in an English pub setting."
The walk-in wine room will allow customers to go and choose a vintage they admire and handpick it themselves.
In a similar vein the restaurant's design features a window with a view into the cold room of the kitchen so that diners can see the speciality meats hanging as part of the ageing process.
